Manusmriti is also a scripture under Sanatan Dharma.

And the scriptures were also followed by Shri Ram and Krishna ji. Some people say that Manusmriti is not dharma shastra which is wrong.

Manusmriti is an authentic scripture in Sanatan Dharma

It has been said in the Taittriya Samhita २.२.१०.२ that - मनुर्वै यत्किञ्चावदत् तद् भेषजम्

This means that what Manu has said is as beneficial for humans as food.

This proves that Manu's theology was considered to be the most authentic in the ancient Vedic period.

The same thing is also found in Tandyabrahmana in 23.16.9.

The same sentence has been written by many Maharishi people in their texts, this proves that Manu's theology was popular. In vedic period

In the Valmiki Ramayana, when Ramji killed Bali on the occasion of mutual war between Bali and Sugriva, the injured Bali denies Ram's act inappropriate.

Then Ram ji uses the words of Manusmriti to justify his act and recites 2 verses of Manu Smriti.

The verses that Ramji quotes are found in 8.396,318 from a few lessons in the present Manusmriti.

Maharishi Manu has been described as a special memory on several chapters in the Mahabharata.

For example, in Shantiparva, we can see places like -3.3.3, 57.33, 118.26, 121.10.

The Acharya named Brihaspati has declared Manusmriti to be the highest smriti scripture in clear words in his smritishastr.

Proclaiming his authenticity and importance, he writes- Sanskarakhand- 13.14

The meaning of the sentence of Acharya called Brihaspati - Manusmriti is the most prominent and praiseworthy among all the Smriti Shastras because of the Vedas being composed in a friendly way to the mantras. And unlike Manu, the scripture is not worthy of praise.

In the same way,there are enough examples of Adyashankaracharya Manusmriti in the Vedantasutra commentary, Vedanta Bhasya -1.3.28, 36; 2.1.1, 11;

Similarly, Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati has adopted many proofs of Manusmriti in the six chapters of his famous book Satyarth Prakash.

It is proved from all these evidences that Manusmriti was considered by all people as authentic. And used to follow it

In the Vedic period, everyone believed Manusmriti from Satyuga to Mahabharata period.

All Acharyas and Rishimuni people believed.
